Book Review: Breaking Dawn (Twilight, #4) by Stephenie Meyer

Like with all the other sequels in the Twilight series, I couldn't wait to start Breaking Dawn and see what the conclusion of the series would bring. The longest book in the series at 756 pages, Breaking Dawn doesn't read like other books of this length. I flew through the pages, and upon a second read through, I noticed a ton of details I missed the first time around. Out of all the books in the series (Twilight, New Moon, Eclipse, and Breaking Dawn), the last installment was my favorite one.
The anticipation of whether or not Bella Swan would actually be turned into a vampire by Edward Cullen had my stomach in knots. The first half of the book didn't have a lot of action in it. It was basically about Bella and Edward getting married and their honeymoon. The second half of the book had all of the action in it and a lot of what ifs.

Book Review: Eclipse (Twilight, #3) by Stephenie Meyer

Immediately after finishing New Moon (Twilight, #2)by Stephenie Meyer, I apprehensively picked up Eclipse (Twilight, #3) and dove right into it. I was worried that it would read much like the book before, but I was pleasantly surprised about how it was much more enjoyable. Despite the fact the hardback version was 629 pages, I finished it within 1 to 1.5 days. I even took it to work with me so I could read on my lunch hour. I also stayed up to three or four o'clock in the morning to finish the book if that tells you anything.
I love the fact that the worlds of vampires and werewolves are finally intertwined into one story unlike the previous two books where they were separated. There was a lot more action in this installment as well with Victoria wanting to avenge her mate and the Volturi coming to check up on the Cullens to make sure they held up their end of the bargain.
