Book Review: Remember Her Name! Debbie Allen's Rise to Fame by Tami Charles
Remember Her Name! Debbie Allen's Rise To Fame by Tami Charles is a children's non-fiction book about how Debbie Allen became a dancer during the Civil Rights Movement and rose to fame. I received an Advanced Readers Copy (ARC) of this book for free from NetGalley and Charlesbridge in exchange for my honest review. I grew up watching Fame , so I've always known of Debbie Allen. However, I realized I didn't know much about her other than she's sisters with Phylicia Rashad. This children's picture book gives kids a look into Debbie Allen's life in a friendly, easy to understand format. Additionally, the story teaches children about the Civil Rights Movement since that is part of the dancers story. It's extremely well written, and the illustrations are phenomenal. i started using Clean FReak when I seen it advertised on tv. My landlord asked me to clean his apartment for him; he pull out the bottom off the stove and it had burned on stuff. I sprayed CLEAN FREAK on it over nite; and I went up the next day and it all came up. I took 2 burners up on my apartment stove; and, I sprayed it let it set for about an hour and half and it right off. Plus, it smells so good. My suggestion would be to come out with more fragrances. ymore about this product than I have. THANK YOU FOR COMING OUT WITH THIS PRODUCT.I vould not brag an
ReplyDeleteI had the same disappointing reaction. It did not clean my bathtub either
ReplyDeleteI love the fresh smell of it. I really haven't tried any deep cleaning with it.
ReplyDeleteI too bought this product very excited to clean kitchen and bathroom… disappointed in both kitchen and horrible in bathroom. My tub experience was exactly the same. I tried the entire tub 2x back to back and went to a different clean and then went to my BEST appliance purchase EVER… Dupray Neat steam cleaner. It cleans like no other… I have used shark steam cleaner, which is very good and I love my Shark Apex Vacuum (best vacuum I have ever purchased) but the Dupray and Kaboom are still my best recommendations for bathroom and kitchen! I also am a zealot fan for Bar Tenders Friend… beats Ajax/Comet hands down!!
