Book Review: The Fair Weather Friend by Jessie Garcia

The Fair Weather Friend  by Jessie Garcia  opens with Faith Richards, a popular meteorologist in Detroit, never returning back to the news station after her dinner break. The next day, her news station releases a story that she's been found, strangled to death not far from the station. The Fair Weather Friend , as Richards is referred to by adoring fans, had some deep, dark secrets. As those skeletons come to light, other peoples' lives start to unravel, and things are not what they seem. I'd like to thank NetGalley and St. Martin's Press for approving my request for an Advanced Readers Copy (ARC) of Jessie Garcia's The Fair Weather Friend . A digital copy was provided to me for free in exchange for my honest review. All opinions of the novel are my own. Product Review: Calvin Klein Pop Top Fingerless Gloves

While window shopping at Macy's Department Store, I wandered into their Backstage department to have a look around. Not really having anything in mind that I really needed, I came across some Calvin Klein Pop Top Fingerless Gloves. There were two colors available, powder blue and mauve.

Checking the price, they were normally $34.00 and on sale for $11.99. With a cold front that had come into town that morning, I thought I should go ahead and purchase a pair as they would be great to wear the next day when I would be taking my morning walk. The low was supposed to be in the twenties. It was a tough decision, but I decided to go with the gloves in powder blue.

The next morning, I got dressed and put on my new Calvin Klein Pop Top Fingerless Gloves in powder blue. It was a brisk twenty-nine degrees Fahrenheit outside. What I loved about these gloves is that I was able to use my Fitbit App, and then cover my fingers with the top of the gloves that came unbuttoned, folded over my fingers, and created a mitten. My walk only lasted twenty-two minutes and was a little over a mile, but my fingers were kept toasty warm.

I was extremely happy with my purchase. So much so that I went back to Macy's to purchase another pair . . . this time in mauve. I seriously considered buying several more pairs to give out as Christmas gifts in December. These gloves are very nice and can be dressed up or down. Five out of five stars is what I give Calvin Klein's Pop Top Fingerless Gloves.
