All the Ice Cream in the Land  by Emmy Kastner  is about a princess, the kingdom she lives in, and her loyal subjects. Full of twists and turns, children will surely delight in this story about ice cream. When I saw the title and cover art of this kid's book, it made me instantly think of my childhood and how I would've loved a book like this one. A huge shout out and thank you to NetGalley and Simon and Schuster Children's Publishing for approving my request to read this book. I received a copy for free in exchange for my honest review. The storyline is very easy to follow, making it especially suitable for toddlers, preschoolers, and early readers, particularly children between the ages of two and six. We All Stir The Pot To End Hunger!

is a thoughtful children’s picture book set inside a food pantry in an unnamed city. Through simple, relatable storytelling, the book shows how people from all walks of life come together to support their community, whether by donating food, volunteering their time, or helping in any way they can. The message is clear and hopeful: everyone has something to contribute, and even small actions can make a big difference in the fight against hunger.

I was thrilled when I was approved by NetGalley and Paw Prints Publishing to receive a free copy of this book in exchange for my honest review. Although it was originally expected to be published on November 15, We All Stir The Pot To End Hunger! was officially released on November 29, 2022, and it was well worth the wait.

This children’s book is filled with meaningful life lessons presented in a way that is easy for young readers to understand and connect with. Thankfully, the message never feels preachy or heavy-handed. Instead, it gently encourages empathy, kindness, and community involvement. The illustrations are vibrant, engaging, and full of warmth, perfectly complementing the story and helping bring the food pantry setting to life. It’s an excellent book for helping children understand that some families struggle with food insecurity and that helping others is something everyone can take part in.

One of the aspects I appreciated most is that a portion of the proceeds from the book supports the mission of Feeding America, reinforcing the real-world impact behind the story. As an added bonus, the book includes family-friendly recipes at the end, giving readers a fun and practical way to continue the conversation about food, sharing, and helping others at home.

I give We All Stir The Pot To End Hunger! by Misty Lee Coolidge with Bobbie Bensur five out of five stars. It’s a heartfelt, beautifully illustrated children’s picture book that tackles an important topic with compassion, making it a wonderful addition to home, school, and library collections.
